Silver Creek Crossing Apartments building 600 has been vacated and residents were asked to leave as of August 15th 2024
Grass was cut on all 3 properties
Some people who had issues inside of their apartments are having their issues addressed

3 RESIDENTS IN MABLETON AND KENNESAW GEORGIA COMPLETED WE THRIVE ON RIVERSIDE RENTERS ASSOCIATION NEIGHBORHOOD AMBASSADORS PROGRAM. THEY COMPLETED 30 DAY BOOT CAMP WHERE THEY LEARNED ABOUT CIVIC ENGAGEMENT, PLANNING ACTIVITIES AND VOLUNTEERING IN THE COMMNUITY. THE NEXT LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY WILL BE NOVEMBER 2024
Thriving Families Project 2021

THRIVING FAMILIES PROJECT
The Thriving Family project was introduced in February 2021. There were 32 applicants that applied, 10 were accepted and 8 graduated from the 6 month program. The program allowed for leaders to learn about academic success, civic engagement, routes to home ownership and heathy choices. Each leader were able to earn up to $500 in monthly goals and received $1000 on rental assistance. Combined the thrivers earned $15,000 dollars. All of the thrivers who participated in the program agreed they liked connecting with the participants, learning about civic engagement and earning incentives.
